400gr of soup in this big bowl for only 281 calories broken down as 14.7C, 5.2F and an immensely filling 38P #liptonsouponsteroids is what I call this soup and it’s loved by everyone in our house. It’s not only delicious and reminescent of childhood for H and I, but easy to make and the nutritional value is amazing! Sounds too good to be true, but it’s not!
I’ve been making it every other week since coming up with the recipe like 2 months ago: I take a kilo of frozen chicken breast and cook it in a pan until done with the LID ON, medium heat, add a gulp of water at some point just to make sure the chicken is not sticking to the bottom of the pan (takes ~25 min.). I roughly chop the chicken breast and put it the mixer with the paddle attachment for a minute to shred the chicken in manageable pieces for the kids, this also gives a lot of texture to the soup, and I throw the chicken in the prepared as per instruction #chickennoodle #liptonsoup (2 packages with 8 cups of water). I wait for the soup to boil again, break 4 eggs in it and mix vigorously. Voilà!
The soup is very consistent and therefore there is not much room for a guessing game as you scoop it out as it’s barely covered by liquids(talking for the macro counters among us), I just make sure the soup in my bowl ressembles the soup in the pot in terms of solid vs liquid ratio. Considering the amazing values of this soup, it’s a tiny #macrocounting risk to manage that I’m taking with a smile😊 Let me know if you try it!! #foodpost #iifym #soup #proteins #getyourproteins #feedyourmuscles
