Bellissimo.

Christmas at the Chalet is a contemporary romance based in St. Moritz. Felicity is a wedding dress designer who has traveled to St. Moritz for a fashion show. She was expecting an engagement ring from her boyfriend and was highly disappointed when she didn't. Felicity then questions Adam's feelings for her and meets a dark and handsome doctor after taking a slip. Then there's Nell. One of Felicity's top models who is planning a wedding but her parents are refusing to come if the other comes. They both are searching and praying for a Christmas miracle. She did such an amazing job of describing St. Moritz. The details made it sound like a piece of heaven. I was kinda disappointed though with the love story. It was totally predictable. #christmas #miracles #love #bookworm #readingforlife #bookobsessed #bookstagram #bookmailisthebestmail

- #BukuKece #KambingJantan #SebuahCatatanHarianPelajarBodoh #RadityaDika #GagasMedia #BookLover #BukuHumor #BukuRadityaDika #UlasanBuku #BukuIndonesia #KutuBuku #BookWorm #ReadingForLife

Bibliomysteries:Stories of Crime in the World of Books and Bookstores. Qotd : Are you a bibliomystery fan? Being a bibliophile, I was completely oblivious to this genre. And when I search books of this genre, The thirteenth tale was the second most recommended. And I knew I had to pick this old book up that's been lying on my shelf since a while 🤥 THE THIRTEENTH TALE by DIANE SETTERFIED. This was quite a read. The mystery, the plot and the characters had depth in them and you would definitely want to delve in more and more. The plot might seem a bit difficult for new readers but if you are in need of some beautifully crafted literary masterpiece, pick this one up. Synopsis : The enigmatic Winter has spent six decades creating various outlandish life histories for herself -- all of them inventions that have brought her fame and fortune but have kept her violent and tragic past a secret. Now old and ailing, she at last wants to tell the truth about her extraordinary life. She summons biographer Margaret Lea, a young woman for whom the secret of her own birth, hidden by those who loved her most, remains an ever-present pain. Struck by a curious parallel between Miss Winter's story and her own, Margaret takes on the commission. #ilovebooks #goodreads #epicreads #booksofinstagram #bookgeek #booktag #novel #igbooks #bookgasm #readingforlife #reading #bookinstagram #bookblogger #booksforlife #bibliophile #bookworm #bookstagram #unitedbookstagram #vsco #igpoets #bookfeaturepage #booknerd #mybookfeatures #bookishfeatures #bookstore #bookstagramfeatures #bookstagramindia #bookhaul #bookfeaturepage #bookstack

I have been seeing this for a long time #bookstagram has become a circle. It has been so that you wouldn't be a worthy bookstagrammer if you didn't read certain books. I don't know if its our unconscious mind or conscious mind that is making us do this. When you look at it gravely there are a lot of good books and authors #bookstagram is turning its back to. In my own little research I have found that this has become very irritable for the outsiders who follow bookstagrammers. A lot of people tell me everyday its just the same book but different review. I have been feeling about this since a bit. And as they say change should be from within. I am introducing #readunconventional to read the books of our like in or out of bookstagram and will give credits to every book that bookstagram made me read. Honestly there are a very few bookstagrammers who really read what they like and do not care about bookstagram circle. Thanks to them for inspiring me. ⚡ ⚡ I'd like to begin with this book by Rashmi Bansal named Connect The Dots;story of twelve people who dared to dream amd achieve what they wanted. It is a very inspiring book that I read a few years back. But last day when I was cleaning ny shelves I realized that I had never posted about such a good book and I have rarely seen her being mentioned in bookstagram. I'm going to bed with a grateful heart for possessing the abilities to experience this universe. Here is an exerpt from the article that touched my heart. . "The universe will always be much richer than our ability to understand it... We are lucky to live in a universe where there are laws of nature and things to discover, but they’re not impossibly difficult, so we can understand them to some extent. But they’re also difficult enough so that we’re nowhere near understanding them all. There are exhilarating discoveries yet to be made. It’s the best possible world." -Carl Sagan

THE FORTUNE'S SOLDIER by ALEX RUTHERFORD. Qotd : Are you a History buff like I'm? ☕ A fan of historical fiction? 💜 Readalong Announcement 📢 The wonderful people over at @hachette_india sent along this beautiful copy of Fortune's Soldier a couple of days ago. A readalong of this newly released Historical Fiction is to be held on Bookstagram from the 10th-23rd of December'18 after which there will be a giveaway and other surprises awaiting you. So,are you joining me and some of my favorite Indian Bookstagrammers in this readathon? Synopsis : It is 1744, and Nicholas Ballantyne, a young Scotsman dreaming of a life as laird of his ancestral estate finds himself quite unexpectedly on the Winchester, a ship bound for Hindustan, seeking to begin a new life as a ‘writer’ on the rolls of the British East India Company. On board, he meets the spirited and mercurial Robert Clive, determined – at whatever cost – to make a fortune in a land of opportunity. Over the years that follow, their friendship sees many twists and turns as Clive’s restless hunger for wealth and power takes him from being a clerk to a commander in the Company’s forces, masterminding plans to snuff out rival French interests in Hindustan and eventually leading the company forces to victory at Plassey, the prelude to nearly two centuries of foreign rule in Hindustan. Brilliantly crafted, and bringing to life the momentous events that shook India in the mid-eighteenth century, Fortune’s Soldier is an epic tale of a fascinating era by a master storyteller. Have you read? "A Clockwork Orange" . A vicious fifteen-year-old "droog" is the central character of this 1963 classic, whose stark terror was captured in Stanley Kubrick's magnificent film of the same title. In Anthony Burgess's nightmare vision of the future, where criminals take over after dark, the story is told by the central character, Alex, who talks in a brutal invented slang that brilliantly renders his and his friends' social pathology. A Clockwork Orange is a frightening fable about good and evil, and the meaning of human freedom. When the state undertakes to reform Alex—to "redeem" him—the novel asks, "At what cost?" This edition includes the controversial last chapter not published in the first edition and Burgess's introduction "A Clockwork Orange Resucked". . . #bibliophilesaurangabad #bookworm #booklover #bookshelf #library #novels #readersofinstagram #reads#aurangabad#bestseller #BookClub #Books #ilovebooks #goodreads #epicreads#booksofinstagram #bookgeek #booktag #novel #igbooks #bookgasm #readingforlife #reading #bookblogger #booksforlife #readersofinstagram #bibliophile #bookworm #bookstagram #unitedbookstagram

. #unacasaaparigi #Grey #deaplaneta #dea #recensioni #recensionilibri #bookstagram #bookpassion #breverecensione #librisulibri #leggere #leggerechepassione #leggerefabene #leggeresempre #reading #reading📖 #amoreperlalettura #bookpassion #leggerefabeneallanima #leggiamo #libribelli #leggerelibri #amorelibri #libriconsigliati #books #books📚 #readmanybooks #readingfordreaming #readingforlife #thriller #thrillerpsicologico

Kumaresan is confident that all will be well. He naively believes that after the initial round of curious questions, the inquiries will die down and the couple will be left alone. 📚⁣ Pairs well with: a friend...(the "will they, won't they" theme of this book is too exciting to read alone)⁣ It made me: pull an all nighter⁣ ⁣ When @reesesbookclubxhellosunshine tells us to jump, we jump. This story is portrayed through two perspectives, Laurie and Jack, individuals who experience a fleeting moment of love at first sight but may never get the chance to see where their feelings could take them. Who doesn't enjoy a good love story with a plot twist via love triangle? (...turned rectangle?) As Reese put it herself, this story reads as a romantic comedy perfect for the holiday season. It will have you hoping for the best, preparing for the worst and then turning everything upside down until you don't know what you want anymore.

Have you read? "Junky" . Before his 1959 breakthrough, Naked Lunch, an unknown William S. Burroughs wrote Junky, his first novel. It is a candid eye-witness account of times and places that are now long gone, an unvarnished field report from the American post-war underground. Unafraid to portray himself in 1953 as a confirmed member of two socially-despised under classes (a narcotics addict and a homosexual), Burroughs was writing as a trained anthropologist when he unapologetically described a way of life - in New York, New Orleans, and Mexico City - that by the 1940's was already demonized by the artificial anti-drug hysteria of an opportunistic bureaucracy and a cynical, prostrate media. For this fiftieth-anniversary edition, eminent Burroughs scholar Oliver Harris has painstakingly recreated the author's original text, word by word, from archival typescripts and places the book's contents against a lively historical background in a comprehensive introduction. Here as well, for the first time, are Burroughs' own unpublished introduction and an entire omitted chapter, along with many "lost" passages, as well as auxiliary texts by Allen Ginsberg and others. . . #bibliophilesaurangabad #bookworm #booklover #bookshelf #library #novels #readersofinstagram #reads#aurangabad#bestseller #BookClub #Books #ilovebooks #goodreads #epicreads#booksofinstagram #bookgeek #booktag #novel #igbooks #bookgasm #readingforlife #reading #bookblogger #booksforlife #readersofinstagram #bibliophile #bookworm #bookstagram #unitedbookstagram

Just finished my latest read. I love the content but for some reason just couldn’t get on with how it was written. So it’s taken me ages to read. However in fairness that may be because of what’s going on in my personal life. Definitely agree we need to manage social media interaction, accept ourselves as we are (and not try and be someone else as dictated by society), want less and embrace life/nature. #guidance #selfhelp #selfhelpbooks #library #publiclibrary #reading #readingforlife #readingforthesoul #readingforgrowth #readingforchange #ilovereading #ilovebooks #brainfood #libraries #librariesrock #librariesmatter #librariestransform #mum #mummy #mumlife #mummylife #mumproblems #mummyproblems #selfcare #innerpeace #happierworld #lettinggoofperfect #findingjoyineveryday #mentalhealth

This lovely clothbound Wuthering Heights was at the op-shop for just $5. Possibly donated by some disillusioned reader who hated it 😂 Readers have such polarising feelings about this book. Although I was never a Heathcliff or Catherine fan, I always considered it a favourite classic. As a teenager, I adopted it as my example of a perfectly constructed story and pulled it apart. I love how the second generation, orchestrated by Heathcliff, begin to unknowingly follow the same terrible pattern set by the one before them. And because the process was halted, I consider the book uplifting rather than tragic. For any fans of chief narrator Nelly Dean, it's a joyful ending. After years of faithfully serving the same volatile families, she now gets her reward, a chance to focus on the two young people she loves most in the world and considers 'her' children. I'm sure they in return always respect and defer to her as they begin married life. She says that on their wedding day there will be no happier woman than herself in all of England 😍 Bravo Nelly. Perhaps because these are my best three characters, I consider it a happy and uplifting ending 👍 Where do you stand on the Wuthering Heights question? Love it? Hate it? Or just meh, which makes you one of the rarer readers 😉 #bookaddict #bookstagram #bibliophile #emilybronte #wutheringheights #bookgram #igreads #booksofig #instabooks #classicliterature #englishclassics #bookchat #epicreads #booksworthreading #bookcollector #coverlove #booklover #bookworm #bookobsessed #loveforbooks #readingforlife #readingforfun
