After 4 sets of this superset with an accidental double dose of #granade50calibre this is what I was seeing come the end of this final set. Seriously though, this was a surprisingly difficult superset. A lower body push/upper body pull superset is always a good choice when wanting to ramp up the intensity of a weights session. What is the deal with the rows? you ask... Well....... these are called dead start rows and you start them from the floor on each rep, it helps take the momentum out of the lift (which can sometimes be a factor with the more conventional barbell row) and this builds greater strength in the back. This lift requires a greater hip hinge than a normal row so care must be taken when doing this lift to keep that back from rounding. Today was Chest & Bicep Day and my client @mike_mustillo96 was repping biceps out for wide/mid/close-Grip EZ bar curls for 4x sets of 25x reps doing Standing strict Bicep curls. He incremented this set with two sets of 10x reps. The thing is that most people don’t do is lock their elbows while doing this exercise, bending your elbows is a BIG NO NO! for me, if you are training biceps or any exercise whether it be back or shoulders or chest, you are doing full range of motion. Half repping shit are for fucking pussies unless you are repping out in barbell Bench. If you want results with me you will have to endure my intense workouts, You will bleed your results by force whether both your body & mind likes it or not. That back workout was a success and doing the full stretch & contraction is what I always do on light week. Although you may find it hard to believe but if angle your torso forward and raise the dumbbells at an angle instead of just to your side, it will target your rear deltoids. I’ve incorporated this exercise with my rear delts as well as other exercises to build my rear delts naturally. Doing this exercise for 4x sets of 25 reps starting out with 10lbs dumbbells and working up to 40lbs dumbbells sets your rear delts ablaze. Not that much people do the exercises that I do in their routines, especially if they are either Powerlifters or Powerbuilders due to the fact that Powerlifters focus on the 3 main lifts which are Squat/Bench/Deadlifts alongside some OHPs and slight accessory work while Powerbuilders do both accessory work as well as the 3 main lifts, but don’t really dive into other various variations towards exercises towards each muscle group, that’s where I stand out from that bunch. Teaching my client @mike_mustillo96 the proper way and strict way to do the exercises that I do whether it’s for biceps, triceps, shoulders, forearms, chest, back, quads, hamstrings, calf’s is the mission in order to build this kid from the ground up and make him sturdy and strong like how Rome was built. I mentioned to him that it’ll take years and it’s a process both physically and mentally, but he has the patience and patience & persistence as well as consistency is the keys to fulfilling your goals in strength and overall health and wellness. Light Back & Triceps day was a success with my client @mike_mustillo96 because both me and him know that both our back and triceps are going to be sore AF in 1-2 days tops. As soon as I get comfortable with handling a certain weight, I’m either going to increase the weight or just increase the rep range to 30 reps, to as much as I was doing when I was cutting back in the day. Had a long day at work and felt nauseous AF, but that did not stop me from doing my 4 sets of 25 reps (Even if I had to increment the reps to complete my set). Today was light Chest & Bicep Day, And Since we were doing 4-5 sets of 25 reps, we decided to Incline/Decline/Flat Bench. I started off with 49.8952kgs (110lbs) and ended up with 108.862kgs (240lbs) because the bench bar is 27.2155kgs (60lbs). Talk about fatigue, our endurance was high, but our chest were saying “No way Fam”. Deload week for both myself and my client @mike_mustillo96 and since today was leg day, started at 68.0389kgs (150lbs) and ended it with 131.542kgs (290lbs) RAW with nothing for support for 4 sets of 25 reps. And had to increment the last two sets with a division between 15 and 10 reps to complete the 25 and this was just our warmup for legs. Was blasting my Biceps yesterday and did these preacher curls with the preacher curl machine, but with one arm individually doing 4 sets of 25 reps each arm, started out at 25lbs and went up to 1 plate and a quarter. After working my way up to 505 for 2x1; we came back down to rep it out; repping 415 for 7, and then here hitting 325 for 22 reps (55 lb barbell); I was destroyed after this, I really tested myself at @knights.gym for their 2 year anniversary!
