It's important to remember in training, we all have less than perfect days. For those who don't know, I sometimes have issues with noises. In particular clinking noises. In puppy agility today I barreled through this ➡ open chute with no hesitation. As I went through my leash clinked. What was no problem, now was one. It took lots of work, but by the end of class mom was able to send me through it without issue. We hope it's all erased by next week.
There was also another weird noise going on that had me anxious. Mom knows me well and she understands my body language. We have been working on a calming word since I was 3 months old. We went to the side, did that, with some body work on legs and I was back to being a 🤡 by the end. I mean I was the only dog that ✔ peed on the course ✔ got distracted by his own pee smell on the course ✔ ran through the tunnel, got to the end, laid on my back and dangled my head out 😂 seriously can I tell you how fun the tunnel is?
