You know, and I know that this photo wasn't taken today. I'm in a little bit of a depression with this week's weather as it's draining my motivation big time so I'm dreaming of blue skies and hoping for crisp mornings! My plan for running today is as follows - •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
At 6.30 small boy has rugby so ill be training around the pitch. Including the space after the posts, I'm thinking the pitch is about 120m long and 70m wide. This means 1 total lap is just under 1/2 a Km.
2 laps warm up.
1 lap hard
1/2 lap easy
1 lap hard 1/2 lap easy.
1 long length fast, 1/2 pitch recovery, 1 long length fast, 1/2 pitch recovery.
1 x short length fast, 1 x long length easy - repeat x 3.
This amounts to just over 4km and should take whatever time you take to feel like you're working hard during your efforts.
If it's too much for you, just reduce your amount of repeats :)
