We're Southern. We're known to go heavy on the seasoning. 🤷♀️ I started looking at all the extra unnecessary additives they put in Season Salts, Meat Rubs, etc and knew I could make them healthier. I was a little worried about having them taste as good but I totally nailed it! -
I made these three recipes as gifts and kept some for us! I could make 5 jars per flavor for the price of ONE premade with added ingredients at the store! 🙄 Talk about Mark Up! Paying EXTRA for ingredients we are avoiding. Perfect.
- 🍋Lemon Dill Season Salt:
-1/2 cup Organic Pink Himalayan Sea Salt
-1/8 Dried Lemon Zest (I got it at for like $2) -3 drops Young Living Dill Vitality Oil.
Shake! Put in Mason Jar.
This is DELICIOUS on Fish! 🐟
🍽Jamaican Jerk Black Pepper Seasoning -1/2 cup Organic Pink Himalayan Sea Salt
-1/5 cup Jamaican Jerk Seasoning (Its a mix of Cayenne, Paprika, Allspice, etc. I also grabbed this for like $3 @ )
- 3 Drops Young Living Vitality Black Pepper Oil
-Shake and store in mason jars
This is AMAZING on chicken! Or roasted veggies. 🐔🌽
🍴Cajun Lime Season Salt
-1/2 cup Pink Himalayan Sea Salt
-1/5 cup Cajun Seasoning (Salt, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, onion powder, cayenne pepper, oregano, thyme, and red pepper flakes. Again at the end of the spice isle The Fresh Market has blends of pure spices with no added ingredients. Huge time and money saver over buying individual and mixing yourself.)
-3 drops Young Living Lime Vitality.
-Shake and store in Mason jars.
