Street photography is by far my favourite style of photography to shoot. Its an embodying experience, as a participant but also an observer. Seeing daily life through a lens - a third eye - highlights moments that go otherwise unnoticed or are simply forgotten. Your focus changes as soon as you bring the lens to your face: there are moments of anticipation, enthralment…of sitting on the edge of your seat and holding your breath…your body can’t help but engage with the symphony unfolding in front of you, of which you are the only audience member. Through the camera, you witness the coming together of unique juxtapositions, intersecting experiences, different worlds - worlds that are and could be forever - until you release your breath and press the shutter.
