Community is everything and thanks to , I know how special it is to be apart of something bigger than just myself. For the @ challenge, I just want to thank a few folks and share my story. Until recently, I was pretty much a loner. I am very good at being a loner. I spent so many years thinking that I could do it in my own, without the help of anyone. I had people in my life who had no clue that I was even an artist! Then a couple of years ago I met Sandra of @. She believed in me and it sparked something in me... meeting her made all the difference. I started to believe in myself and I eventually gained the confidence to keep trying new things. One local gallery, a few craft fairs, and many collaborations later, I found myself in the middle of a beautiful community and my heart became so full. Through new friendships and business transactions, I started to realize just how special human interaction was and how lucky I was to have been accepted into a local community, especially as an outsider. I would not be here today without all of the people that I have met... even the smallest moments have meant everything to me. Just a quick shoutout to a few folks who played a part in the artist/person I am today... @, @, @, @, @, @, @, all the folks at the @, @ @, @, @, @ables, @ and @, @, @... I am also grateful for a few in my online community: @e, @, @, @, @ and @. The support in Augusta is inspiring. Creatives help one another and build each other up. I am so grateful to have been apart of it, even for a short time. It’s a beautiful thing to witness makers helping each other. I am happy to be apart of it and wish you all success and happiness this holiday season!
