I'm changing the way I create from start to finish. It requires a lot more from me with more time, research, experimentation, energy, investement and so on. As a result I produce less, but hopefully more impactful results. Instagram isn't set up for that. Infrequent posting drops you down and hides you in others feeds. But Instagram isn't the place for this work. I don't put hours and days and a large emotional investment into something to be scrolled passed and maybe taken in for a few seconds. It's to be on the wall or held in the hands. To sit with and let it resonate. I'm no longer making art for screens. I'm creating a body of work that won't be shown here. Instagram is for my side projects as it has been for some weeks now. I'll be posting about the same. I just hope to find a place for my work and people to receive my art.
