What are your thoughts on Bluetooth connected tools ?
I recently (today) downloaded the @ridgidtools Link app to connect to my RP241 compact press tool .
The app offers tool inventory storage, “last seen” tracking info, usage data for the last 30 days and other cool features like manual downloads and product videos .
Press tools have a limited number of press cycles before service is required. Service means downtime and other tools (including all my other press tools) only give you a warning on the tool when service is required, eventually they’ll shut down until reset at the service center. The RIDGID Link app will notify me when service is needed ahead of time, allowing me to schedule it when it works best for our workload. That’s a really cool feature, likely the one that will keep the app on my phone. Hope this helps 👊🏼👊🏼💯
