Tuesday is the first session in our 10 week Tailor Made advanced sewing sessions that run through the school terms, this is a space where you can work on bigger problems than Mending. Enough time to tackle those alterations or upcycling, We can help with garment construction and making new to fit. Bookings are open for next term, $125 for 2 hrs over 10 weeks. email firstname.lastname@example.org to book.
Wednesday is very busy with 2 fully booked Sewing for Beginners Sessions the registration form is here if you want to book in for a future session http://www.stitchkitchen.nz/sewingforbeginners.html this is $45, we are happy to discuss different payment methods if this is a barrier for you, please get in touch. We love volunteers who can help with sorting our textiles. <3
Stitch Kitchen is OPEN on Wednesday 10- 3pm and Thursday 10 - 1pm, Bags for Good Joins in on Thursday for a sewing bee, All welcome as there are lots of varied jobs to do to create this community bag library. Have you seen the competition to win a Bag with Blacks Road Grocer, tag your bag sharing image before the end of the month #bagsforgood and #blacksroadgrocer .
Bags for Good travels to Port Chalmers Library 1 - 3pm on Friday, This is the last week in Port Chalmers, next week Bags for Good will be in Waitati at the Blueskin Bay Library. .
