A little while ago I decided to start making some changes in life. Beforehand, I had kinda just accepted that I would always have no energy, no motivation, and no time for myself cause you know, I'm a mum. I wasn't unhappy, but I felt a bit lost (having a second bubba less than 3 months ago probably had something to do with it lol). I've been de-cluttering the house, doing yoga, spending time making food instead of grabbing something quick but crappy, making a smoothie and drinking my celery juice every day, getting rid of clothes I don't wear, getting rid of toys the kids don't/won't use, putting an effort into looking after myself more, and I even unfollowed a heap of Insta accounts that don't inspire me or serve any real purpose.
I have SO much more energy and feel on top of things most of the time now. My afternoon slump used to be so bad that I could barely keep my eyes open but now I get through the whole day just fine.
1 more pro tip - change out of your pyjamas in the morning even if you aren't going anywhere. It makes a HUGE difference with how much motivation you have for the day!
Obviously I still have bags under my eyes but what's new ✌🏼
