Every time I train I think about trying to do better, be stronger, go faster, make it burn more, increase my reps, or move more weight.
I think you are missing out BIG time on opportunities for growth if you don’t try to out do and compete with yourself. It’s truly what keeps me motivated and going back for me. Like I mentioned in my story, I didn’t catch the greatest pump today, but my workout still was a success. I flipped back through my workout journal and realized I’ve gotten stronger even by a pound or a couple reps. Not all exercises you’ll add 5, 10, 20 # pounds quickly. You’ll only be successful if you are able to look long term and persist past for the long term. 🤙🏼
