This herbal soak is one of my FAVOURITE things to do. It’s easy to prepare and will leave you feeling totally relaxed and ready for that Netflix and hot beverage you have waiting! This is also a really great bath for tired mommies with young children as kids love this and it will help em to wind down too.
Axum Oils Body Soak🧖🏽♀️🌿🍃 Equipment:
1 Large bowl or jug (preferably glass or steel)
Large strainer or cheesecloth
1/3 cup lavender flowers
1/3 cup eucalyptus leaves
1/3 cup sea salt
1/3 cup mint leaves
Put the herbs, flowers and salt into a large bowl/jug. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Once boiled, pour the water onto the herbal mixture and let steep for 10 mins. Once steeped, the tea can be strained and added to bathwater for a sit down soak, or to a foot bath for a relaxing foot soak.
While you take your herbal soak affirm that you’ve worked hard this week, and that you deserve relaxation. Say a few words of gratitude. You are worth it Honey, enjoy. *Tip: Bath May be more enjoyable with a small glass of wine or roots drink. Herbs can be found in health food stores & the super market. *ON A BUDGET? Never fear! Break open the mint or chamomile tea bags if you have them laying around and use the salt you have until you get your hands on some sea salt/epsom salts.
