We like exploring new places and experiencing new things but we can be creatures of habit, too.
Today, I want to personally share this little gem of a bookstore that I keep going back to: @theclaremontforum bookshop. They sell used books, most in excellent condition, of different genres, and with super affordable prices (as low as $1). But the best thing about this shop is their involvement with The Prison Library Project, which sends quality books to inmates nationwide. I strongly believe that knowledge is power - most of what I know and what keeps me driven, I got from reading books and listening to audiobooks. It’s already been proven that educational help has a huge impact in preventing recidivism (repeat offenders) among prisoners - what more in their rehabilitation and the betterment of their lives!
If you want to know more about this project, you can check out theprisonlibraryproject.org.
If you simply are a bookworm: pay a visit to @claremontpacking house, buy a book at this shop, get coffee at nearby @augiescoffee or ice cream at @alaminute while getting started with your book, and watch a movie at the @laemmletheatres in the evening. That’s what a perfect #sundayfunday would be to me. ❤️ #stellanadventures
