What do you hear when you hear your favourite instrument? Or a favourite progression? When playing over stuff like this there is something that always makes more sense to me than other music. There is something so real and powerful about a minor progression that sweeps low and then somehow rises high. It sounds sad, a fitting emotion for the human journey. Look at what has happened over centuries. So much bad. I don't say this negatively but more so what can we learn from it? Do we overlook little things? I think so. When I play this I hear the world. I think at one point in here I'm just using a stacked half step scale involving four notes max just to prove that sometimes you can flourish in the tiniest places. This to me is music theory. Also if you are a guy and you often times feel like you can't admit something is "cute" or you can't shed what I like to call a "power tear", all I can say is ouch.
