I’m a pretty careful/conscious eater if it’s at a restaurant or someone else has prepared the food - mainly because I am hyper aware of potential allergens. However, I find at home I’m totally distracted, either I eat super fast or need to consume some type of media during the meal. •
As a way to rekindle my relationship with food I have been trying to slow down, take away any distraction, and enjoy what I’m eating. Conscious eating in a way that is looking for joy instead of just a rogue allergen. It’s all about that balance! •
