I am with you. This is what I have went through many times. I would have a goal but Very hard not to want quick results.
When I was teenage girl, I was over weight, when I tell you over weight. People who knew me those days wouldn’t recognise me these days, that much over weight. Shame I don’t have any photo proof because I would stay miles away, when people start taking photo OR if someone manage to take my photo I would cut it into pieces 😳. I didn’t know any better.
BUT later on when I found my first real friends who accepted me the way I am , no matter what they stayed friends with me. I start loosing weight because I start going out start becoming active BUT mind you it wasn’t easy for us to get active, being a girl, we were not allowed to go out as much so even I wasn’t doing anything bad I had to start lying to my family (sorry mum). Then I start loosing weight really fast because I wouldn’t eat anything cup of milk tea/ 1 biscuit a day. I thought this is my chance to loose all my weight at once BUT i didn’t realise it is not realistic. After my drastic weight change I start eating like crazy again Because I was starving myself, then I put it all back on again. I went through this for a long time BUT later on I realise I need to eat and do physical activity at the same time to keep the balance.
Now I know how important it is too be patient and have a realistic goal from years of learning/experience.
I hope my story will give you little bit of idea. Not eating anything will give you short result but you will suffer from all sorts of deficiencies in your health so please increase your physical activity and eat healthy. I didn’t have anybody to guide me through when I was going though the process. I thought myself but now I want to show people YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS ALONE, I am here with you. 🙏
If you are parents, encourage your kids to go out and be active, may be that is all they need. If you are dealing with with similar experience.
