This weekend I accomplished an unbelievable feat! I hiked two of the most rigorous mountains in Southern California back to back...Mt. Baldy on Friday and Mt. San Jacinto Peak on Saturday.
I was amazed that I was even able to be the first one in the group the reach the peak of San Jacinto.
I really thought the fatigue from the previous hike would slow me down. Surprisingly, I had plenty of energy to spare. Having fun with your friends can make hikes so much more easier.
Myself along with four others were the first group to start heading back down the mountain. We were lost in our zones and enjoying our conversations that we weren’t keeping track of where we were going. We were more than a mile in when I looked at my watch and realized we went the wrong way. Haha We started hiking back up the mountain which added more than 2+ miles to our hike.
After getting back on the right trail we started hustling to try and catch up to everyone who was more than an hour ahead of us. Once we caught up to the first group we just started running the whole way down and passed up 2 more groups... Me, Ivan, and Anne completely beasted it!! 💪🏽🏃🏽♂️ I have only ONE mountain left to hike. In two weeks, I’m coming for you San Gorgonio! 🏞 💪🏽 Six Pack Of Peaks Challenge... Hike number 5 of 6 complete. (Technically 7 of 8)
San Jacinto Peak
