Throwback Thursday - 1 month postpartum with baby #6 - 240lbs. When this picture was taken, I had no idea what I looked like until I saw this photo! 😬🥺😳 SWIPE LEFT TO SEE ME NOW. .
I have been thin most of my life, except when pregnant, but the weight always dropped off. This time, I had two babies in two years and I was 40 years old when I delivered my last little angel! Dropping weight at 40 is so much different than dropping weight at 30. It doesn’t really “drop“ off!
Modifying my diet by eliminating fried food, eating extremely clean, drinking @ and no sugar for an entire year, I was able to take off a little more than 100 pounds. I didn’t exercise, but I had two little babies to run after, which was exercise enough! LOL! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 .
My body was not healthy at this weight. I didn’t feel good, I couldn’t easily get up off the floor. .
I’ve maintained my weight loss for six years. (Give or take 20lbs.) I know what my triggers are, and I’ve been on that emotional journey with my food and why I eat. There’s no magic pill.🤗
