So glad to be home with my pups again 🐶 Working a bunch and traveling for our business is great and all, but I seriously LIVE for the days that I just get to chill at our home. Does that make me a “homebody” now? 🤔🤔🤔 I don’t get to take my own advice very often, but I do think It’s very important to take time to recharge every once in a while! That’s definitely what I did today, and I feel 10,000% better 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 (outside of a few phone calls, a meeting, and a few errands of course😂) How many of my friends on here prefer their “quiet,chill,home” time vs the crazy party scene 😝

Can we just all acknowledge how cold it has been recently in Sydney. During the colder months, I honestly struggling getting out of bed as picking a warm bed over the ice cold air is much more appealing but continuously hitting the snooze button eventually turns from wanting to stay warm to just being plan lazy... Now I am usually pretty good but lately I have struggled more then usual. My life is crazy! I am barely hanging on most days. 4 kids (one is missing in this pic 😝) and all their activities....work.....household.........I get it. I was overwhelmed with life and didn't think I could make time for myself. I didn't think it really mattered. I would have time when they were grown, right? Then I did a thing, I made a decision...a decision to live my best life, be the best version of me. It started with making time to exercise, then I added in the nutrition. I didn't do it all at once, little pieces here and there. Guess what? Those little changes added up to big over the long haul. They are lifetime changes. It not only changed how I approach my own health but how I approach my family's. So this is where I ask you to make a little time for you, make a change, see what happens. You won't regret it! Afternoon Snack!!🌸🍽😋 - This is my usual afternoon snack! Sometimes I have different fruit but today I have one banana🍌, watermelon🍉, and two strawberries🍓! So it’s Monday, and I totally forgot my #weighin picture on Saturday! So here’s the same pic from last week, BUT in a side by side with a pic from the very first day of my journey! I went to an ugly sweater party and wanted a cute pic of my shirt. I spent the WHOLE night trying different angles, lighting, filters, etc. and I still couldn’t get a “good” picture. I didn’t even get to enjoy myself. That’s when I realized that no amount of filters, angles, or lighting was going to change how I REALLY looked and felt. I decided to make a change and start my journey to health! I want to reach a place where I am proud of having a strong body and proud of myself for working so hard to achieve it. There’s been ups and downs along the way (ups being 30 lbs UP from last year 🤦🏻‍♀️) but I’m on my way and on the right track! I love starting a new routine! Summer is tough when I’m off a routine. Last summer I didn’t work and it made it tougher. This summer I’m working in the mornings so I have more of a routine. This is one workout routine is one that I have been looking forward to. Lifting. HIIT. Core. Simple and easy to follow. Plus, that means I’m back to focusing on all my meals...,minus a cheat here or there. 😉 Ready to get back on track. Day one measurements done and I’m looking forward to some physical changes with this one!

Guys... it's been TWO whole weeks without bread, pasta, or anything of the sort 😲 and the weirdest part is that I don't even want it???? Not even craving it a tiny bit???? I'm blown away not only by how content I am without those things, but how good I feel every morning when I wake up (peep that silly smile 😜) I do have a slight intolerance for gluten (as do most people) and since it is relatively minor, I always ignored it. I ignored how tired I would feel after a day filled with carbs (sandwiches, toast, pasta dishes, etc.) and how GROSS I looked and felt in the morning. Not only was the bloating sooo real, but I felt uncomfortable, too - I used to get that feeling you get from overeating, but first thing in the morning. It was awful. It's been a long time since I've woken up after a weekend of drinking and indulging a little bit, but still feel amazing... it rocks 🤗 I've been meal prepping with minimal ingredients until I get another job, balling on a budget and my meals show it 😂 but I made some bomb ass lemon chicken, roasted potatoes, and turkey chili which should last me till Thursday. Here’s my #mondaymotivation and an early #transformation for you... Last week I read @meghan_scoobyprep post about her mental and physical transformation and it inspired me and really motivated me to be vulnerable and share my own. Nearly 2 years ago in August of 2016 (right) I was diagnosed with anorexia nervosa when I was 19. My eating disorder was actually fueled by fitness, my true passion. My anxiety and depression became so overwhelming that the only way I knew how to deal with it was through extreme control over food and excessive exercise. I became so obsessed with pushing my body to its absolute limits that I lost sight of what life was really all about and why I loved to workout in the first place.I can’t tell u how many family gatherings, birthdays, holidays, and friend outings I missed due to my illness. It literally took everything away from me that I truly cared about. Fast forward to today (left) post treatment and tons of therapy and group sessions later, I’m constantly fighting and pursuing recovery each and everyday. Yes, some days are harder than others, but on those harder days I really focus on what I want in life which is happiness. Happiness that my illness will never ever give me. Recovery has given me my life back and for that I am so grateful. So yeah, that’s just a little peak inside my story because if I was to share it all we’d be here all day. There’s beauty and growth in vulnerability so if by sharing just a little from my past helps just one person that’s all that I care about. I’m extremely proud of my transformation because it has made me the person I am today and has giving me a better perspective on life. By bringing more awareness to eating disorders people will know they are not alone, there is hope, and recovery is possible. If you or any one you know suffers from an eating disorder, don’t be afraid to reach out and seek help.
