1️⃣ Establece tu déficit calórico según tu nivel de actividad física: (revisa cómo en el post de la semana pasada) - 2️⃣ Divide y organiza tus comidas: Vegetales y proteína magra son la base. 80% natural y hecho en casa durante la semana. 20% comida procesada, dulcitos, alcohol, comida trampa el fin de semana. - 3️⃣ Establece horarios: para comer y entrenar. A) Comer cada 3-4 horas. B) Cardio / Pesas 4-6 veces por semana. Colócate un horario de acuerdo a tus posibilidades para esto. Que tengas una rutina es importante para que lo hagas automáticamente y no tengas que buscarle un momento constantemente. Eso cansa y no siempre vas a tener la voluntad, en cambio, si le colocas hora, lugar y tiempo dentro de tus actividades diarios es más factible que lo hagas. -Ejemplo 1: Voy a entrenar de lunes a viernes durante 1h antes de irme al trabajo. -Ejemplo 2: Voy a entrenar lunes - miércoles - viernes después del trabajo durante 1:30 min. 4️⃣ Elige una distribución de macros con el que te sientas mejor: Bajo en carbos o bajo en grasa. (Sin eliminar) : Las personas delgadas por naturaleza les va mejor con los carbos. La que respiran y engordan les va mejor con las grasas. Escoge tu enfoque pero no elimines ninguno por completo. Todos los macros son necesarios para que tu cuerpo funcione bien. - 5️⃣ Mantente hidratado a lo largo del día. El agua es necesaria para todo y más para perder grasa (les haré un post aparte) - 6️⃣ Controla el estrés/ Duerme entre 7-8 horas diarias. Cuando no dormimos o estamos estresados segregamos cortisol. Esta es una hormona hace que acumules grasa en la zona abdominal y le encanta comerse al músculo. Esto es súper importante. 🍦ice cream🍦 . . My daughter requested ice cream on he drive home from school today. She has a milk allergy so we do dairy free ice cream. I also don’t like the sugar content in most store bought ice creams so I prefer to make my own. . . Today’s “ice cream” was actually made with puréed frozen bananas. She requested purple ice cream so I added in blueberries for color. To help with the creamy consistency, I added coconut milk and coconut water. SALTED COCOA CARAMEL BARS I just made the most delicious dessert. These bars are sweet and gooey and salty all at the same time. They are paleo and vegan friendly. Bonus: they contain cocao. Magnesium is found in cocao, which promotes relaxation. Cocao also contains tryptophan, which is helpful for sleep. So this is my perfect bedtime snack/treat ! Ingredients: Chocolate layers 1 cup raw cocao powder 1 cup coconut oil 4 tbsp 100%maple syrup Caramel layer 1 cup almond butter 1/2 cup 100% maple syrup 1/2 cup coconut oil 2 tsp vanilla extract Sea salt to flavor Instructions Place parchment paper on a 8x8 square pan. Add all chocolate layer ingredients to a pot and cook on low. Stirring rapidly, in order not to burn. Once it becomes a liquid , take off the stove and using a wet spoon, flatten out half the chocolate layer on the bottom of the pan. Set in freezer. While that's freezing, put caramel layer ingredients in a different pot. Melt ingredients on medium. Stir frequently. Should be a gooey consistency. Pour caramel layer over frozen chocolate layer. Place in freezer for about 15 minutes. Add last chocolate layer and freeze for an additional 15 minutes. Sprinkle sea salt on each bar. Stir Fry good enough for a carnivore gone temporarily vegan and it gets a 10/10! I know many of you are tired of my “vegan” posts, but here’s the deal: I will always try something at least once...I tried this out and though the first week was R-O-U-G-H and I mean every capital letter of that, it has turned out to be very insightful. Truly, my mind was so fixated on animal based proteins and “I can’t live like this” that my entire days were filled with the “this is awful” mindset. Overall, I couldn’t disagree more. Honest to goodness, I cannot live on this diet I have been on for 20 days and here is why—It’s a “restricted” vegan diet that aims to take all the pleasures food may bring to you and replaces it with spiritual dependence and resets my body and mind (and heart) to be grateful and thankful for the foods this earth provides me. And guys, I AM!! I am so thankful. I couldn’t appreciate the vitamins and essentials animal protein provides more and I couldn’t be more thankful for the inventor of pizza, ( 🤷🏼‍♀️) but hey, I have enjoyed PLENTY of meals on this diet that have been 100% plant based. Reality is, this diet served its purpose and I will take A LOT of what I have learned from this. So, I have made a 2018 commitment...and I’ll happily share that with you come next week.
