Body obsession…. let’s chat about that for a sec mmmmkay?
Maybe it’s not in your news feed, but it’s all up in mine! 6 packs, pinching fat rolls, highlighting cellulite, flexing quads, etc you get the picture. And I understand all of it 100%. I have had all of it AND obsessed over ALL of it myself at one point or another.
BUT... when you let how your body looks determine whether or not you have a good day, your level of happiness, your worth, amount of self love, or love for others… then you got yourself an issue, ladies…. I mean, some of the happiest, most impactful, most brilliant, loving, sassy, and GORGEOUS people on the planet had some curves, extra junk in the trunk, a little extra fluff from time to time, or all the time!
What matters most to ME is how I FEEL. If my energy is sky high, I’m sleeping like a baby, I feel strong, my body IS strong, I’m supremely healthy and happy, not craving sugar left and right, feeding my family the right foods, and my body can do hard things... then I am winning! How bout you?
Making peace with your body has to be done - stop avoiding it. Stop wishing you had someone elses body and start LOVING yours. I think you’ll be surprised how your body responds to love instead of hate💋 #islander #sup #freedom #selflove
