The wind continues to blast through the bay this morning, those furious gusts flinging waves and sand and foam and froth onto the beaches and dunes.
It’s a stormy one alright but those rain squalls are sauntering away to drench the moors and eastern countryside, leaving us to our wind but drynesss.
And so the surf is exciting and huge and explosive but you wouldn’t want to choose to involve yourself with it too intimately, not today!
And with all these storms raging onto our coastline one after the other, I’ve decided to slip away for a few days in search of some cleaner and brighter, less chaotic surf, so no surfcheck for a week or so!
But it’s looking like more of the same with powering mainly onshore winds being forecast for the foreseeable!
Adios amigos and see you in a week or two!
