Life is ALL about BALANCE! Today and tonight I am celebrating two dear friends who are getting married next weekend. I came into this weekend KNOWING I am not going to eat on plan, I KNOW I’m going to have some wine at the winery, and I KNOW I am going to have a blast celebrating these two...WITHOUT GUILT!
I woke up this morning, had my coffee/me time, had my shake and sent out some messages, got my workout done (most of it, I did two rounds instead of three bc of time), cleaned up and headed out to a local winery for the first part of bachelorette day! Tonight..backyard bbq party and I plan on fully enjoying the food and company.
You should NEVER feel like you cannot enjoy celebrations because of your “diet!” When you change your mindset to this is a lifestyle and as long as I do MY best everyday, that’s success...it will become SOOO much easier to stay on track with your goals and see changes.
Yes, these programs I follow have meal plans laid out to help achieve optimum results...BUT for me...I’m a realist. I know this is a LIFELONG journey, life gets in the way sometimes and sometimes you need to celebrate...in the grand scheme of my life....a few days here and there of eating not according to my goals are OKAY!
