Well my plan was to eat egg whites this morning, BUT my 3 year old son put the brand new carton of egg whites in his John Deere truck pretending to carry groceries last night. 😑 So two eggs with asparagus, oh and I already ate 1 piece of Ezekiel bread. Happy TUESDAY!! It’s time for #legday. You don’t have to train legs at the start of the week BUT I do suggest starting your week off with something that makes you feel strong and confident. For me, right now....that is my legs. I’ve switched up my workout a bit so that I’m not lifting to my max at the moment BUT using a variety of moves with medium to heavy weight. Most exercises get AT LEAST 4 rounds at 10-15 reps. (Depending on exercises). I’m always adding interesting challenges along the way. (10 EMOM, HIIT ETC). I love pushing myself and trying new combos. ⠀ ⠀ Here is a few from last week. Try em out as a full workout OR just a few. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ This is an excellent #hotelgymworkout. No fancy machines just a treadmill and free weights. Nothing too heavy. ⠀ ⠀ You will feel the burn with this one. ⠀ ⠀ 1. Dumbell Swings 4x20- I went a bit lighter in weight and went for speed ⠀ ⠀ 2. Deadlift to Squat Combo- 4x20 make sure you are VERY familiar with a hip hinge for this one. Time under tension=fire (stand on two treadmills to get a deeper range of motion) ⠀ ⠀ 3. Deficit Lunges into Knee raise - 4x20 each - even adding a couple of inches add so much to this one ⠀ ⠀ 4. Lateral lunge to reverse lunge - 4x12reps each - add a little hop in between as a challenge. ⠀ ⠀ (I always try to add multiple angles and directions into a workout)⠀ ⠀ 5. 4x 1min incline sprint. - GO ALL OUT! I did 15.0 on the incline and 7.0 on the speed. Which is rough for me. when you’re on set with a strict meal plan but catering shows the fuck out 😂😭😭😭 . . . it’s SO hard to stay on track on set. if y’all ain’t never seen crafty before (aka the snacks area on set) you really have no idea lol. they’ll have every finger food snack ever (trail mix or chex mix or any “party” snack mix), soda, every flavor gum/candy, breads, bagels, coffee, seaweed snacks, sometimes donuts sometimes nachos sometimes chips and guacamole it just depends on the set! . . . luckily this sets catering (the actual meal time) had so many options for me 🤗 salad bar and fruit station and tons of veggies and tofu and potatoes (and it was so hard not getting rice but i did it!!! lol) and every time i make the right choice like this on set i am extremely proud of myself #letsgetit

yalllll i’m on week 23 of BBG 2.0 aka i have TWO weeks left (including the rest of this week) until i finish my 6th round of BBG! @kayla_itsines 😎😍😜 . . . i N E V E R thought i’d be able to jump on this specific one cause it’s half my size!! but if @kayla_itsines says do 15 box jumps a circuit on the tallest one then imma do 15 box jumps a circuit on the tallest one! 😂😅 . . . it’s crazy how SIX rounds later (12 weeks each round) i can still have moments where i doubt my ability to do an exercise but every time that happens i’m able to tell my ego to STFU and i fucking DO 👏🏼 THE 👏🏼 DAMN 👏🏼 THING 👏🏼 . . . but one question kayla: why you gotta be adding all these “pulses” before box jumps or jump squats or even tricep dips... whyyyy!!! whyyyyyy!!! 😂😂😅😅😅😭 #letsgetit

The scale DOESN'T MATTER. Can I get an amen!? 💪 . . Same girl. Different mindset. Stronger girl. Heavier weight. 💪 . . I use to be the girl whose only form of exercise was running and only form of diet was nachos, chocolate, and vodka. I thought that I could get the body of my dreams by running, running, and more running without any thought to nutrition. I was constantly told to eat more and that I was "too skinny". Let me tell you, I have NEVER had a problem with eating. But I did have a problem with poor nutrition. I'd eat anything and everything because I thought, "it's fine, I'll burn those calories running". 💪 . . Eventually, I let go of being concerned over the amount of miles I put in per week and replaced a little running with weight lifting. But since my nutrition flat out sucked, I still wasn't gaining the muscle that I wanted. I realized I'd never gain muscle with the nutrition I was eating, or ummm NOT eating. 💪 . . So I did some research, discovered how important nutrition is and changed my diet completely. I was introduced to organic foods and the best nutritional system. Now, although I have a skinny build, I have muscle definition. And guess what? I weigh MORE now while feeling stronger and more energized! This is why the scale doesn't matter! 💪 . . If you want your life to be filled with freedom, confidence, balance, and the ability to not obsess over the scale but instead focus on FEELING great, send me a message. Let's chat!

Return of the sweaty #photofinish 📷 Another day, another “oh, I’ll just go for an easy run”, followed by more of a tempo run (with some sprints thrown in for good measure) 🙈 I had thought just to do a loop or two of the local golf course but I spotted this hill on the second time around and had to get some intervals in!
