“We’ve got plenty of stuff for the beach” said Dad unearthing a mask from the 80’s and a bat and ball, without the ball.
Dad doesn’t really enjoy the swimming aspect of a beach trip. He prefers people watching and a cerveza. He’s been nominated as head lifeguard despite that
and I have to say we should probably get him one of those really tall chairs, because he’s a good spotter. He does need to cut back on the breaks and sporadic snoozing though.
The boys have really developed good water confidence and that’s mainly down to @allhallowssch and @lisa.winter87. When you are single parenting with three boys, on a beach, you become very appreciative of the fact they can, in the main, look after themselves in the shallows.
As an aside, will you check out the size of dad’s hands! I’ve inherited these farming palms and used to wish I had slender piano playing digits.
