Doctor Who Season 11 Episode 7: 'Kerblam!' Review!
Kerblam! was a darn solid episode in my book. I knew I waa going to love it right off the bat when we see the Kerblam Man and of course the Fez. I get the vibes that the writer of this episode has been the biggest Who fan out of the rest of the series 11 writers, what with the reference to Unicorn and the Wasp, the Fez, Venucian aikido, psychic paper. Which I loved, something I kinda feel this season has been missing so I loved to see that. Graham was fantastic, I think that goes without saying at this point.
I think my only critism is that I think the reveal of Charlie being behind the disappearances should have been built up a bit more- which goes for the climax of the episode. But that said I did really like the reveal and I certainly didn't see that twist coming despite the foreshadowing I noticed after rewatching- pretty neat! The whole idea that the weapon of choice was bubble wrap was great and it made me go "that is evil!" aloud. Another thing which is kinda nitpicky was the scene where the doctor was all "you'll have me to deal with" I was thinking "damn what a badass" then they had to ruin it by them walking away and shes like "was that too bombastic?" So yeah, pretty epic. 8/10
