Always nature inspires me 🌺 a big YES to be getting my teeny fingers back into working with metals and beautiful gems, jumping back into jewellers land this week ✨Here's a piece I handmade in silver and gold 💫
It's been a rollercoaster couple of months, in a lost state that I wouldn't normally share on here as I'm always focusing on being a ray of light 💫 But lightness can't be fully appreciated without dark, right? Being an independent artist is fucking hard, I take my hat off to all of you here, you inspire me daily 💐Mixed in with moving state, going to court (nothing serious), changes in relationships, the general day to day life tests, I can well say Im in a darker place then I've been in for years, and slightly defeated at times. But I've found a huge strength in this vulnerability. I've asked for help, and got it in abundance and with love. I can't thank my friends and family enough for all of it, the words, hugs, open ears, places to live, you name it... Now to rebuild and weave in what I've learnt so far, grow grow grow🌱
So I made the decision to get a part time job in afield I love, creatively fuelled of course. Having art as my main source of income the last 3 months took all the joy out of it, because unfortunately it did become about the money when the bills started piling up. It wasn't a release or escape anymore, and the products showed it.
But I'm starting to see colours in my mind again, finding that inspiration from myself to paint again, and I can't wait to see what I produce without any expectations 🎨
It seems the time to face those demons, some still to admit to, some hurdles already conquered, but I'm ready for what's next. So the lesson of the rant...it's ok to not be ok, because moments pass, and it's amazingly brave to ask for help 🌈
How's this full moon 🌕
