What does a tattoo mean to me? It’s a representation of who I am, an artist, an empath, I wear my heart on my sleeve and this sleeve is for my Mum, my Uncle, my Brother and my Dad. The lady on my arm represents my mother who is a strong, beautiful woman despite everything she has been through, the flowers are for my Uncle who was an incredible gardener/landscaper and he passed away 2 years ago from brain cancer, the water is for my younger brother who loves fishing and kayaking, the music for my Dad who plays guitar and in his younger days was in a band. I still have other parts of my life and family members I want to add to my body so it’s all a working progress. It’s funny, the more tattoos I get, the more I feel at home in my skin. Thank you @teneile_napoli from @garageinkmanor for giving me a piece of my family I can carry with me forever and boosting my confidence. I love you.
