A friend of mine posted this pic of my daughter & I yesterday at the gym... and it got me thinking about how cool this fitness journey has been the past few years.
Swipe for more... Next pic on left was maybe 7 years ago. I was well over 200 pounds and my daughter couldn't get her arms all the way around me for a hug. We were walking in the park and I couldn't go very far because I was so out of shape.
Pic on right was about 4 years ago and I had just run a 5K race and my daughter was so proud of me & she wanted to take a pic together.
Current pic - we do Crossfit and run together. She helps me get groceries and meal prep every week, and she's learning about the importance of balancing health/fitness/fun.
I love looking back at not just the physical progress the past few years, but at the growth in other areas also. Especially for her. My daughter has become so confident and knows how strong she is, in every way, and that's the BEST part so far of this entire journey! ❤️
