Water and coffee and Ningxia Red. 💗 I can't start my morning without them. I drink 10-12 ounces of water when I come down stairs and take my supplements. I start with water because I know it helps wake up my body and get my metabolism going. And because coffee is dehydrating, I like to get some water in me before I take that first, delicious, wonderful, warm, earthy sip of coffee.
I love coffee. It rarely "wakes me up" or keeps me awake at night, but I love the ritual of it in the morning. The warm mug, the subtle sweetness of the maple syrup I put in it, the touch of creaminess from the half & half, the smell I get just before taking a sip.
And in between my water and coffee I've got to get my Ningxia in there. Full of fruit juices and extracts... Including Ningxia wolfberries, otherwise known as goji berries. It's full of antioxidants and vitamins that support overall health and energy levels. I can always tell when I've forgotten to stick this for a few days. And it's a delicious intense punch of fruit to wake up my brain.
