🗻Continued post🗻 God's dream requires some testing and character building 💕
2. Character grows in the shadows of hidden service
Joseph served in prison, which is a lowly position. Not exactly a highly desirable position of wealth and fame. Jesus most treasures hidden gestures that is concealed from the world's view. Why? Because then He knows that your heart is pure. He knows that you are truly serving your Lord, not yourself (to feel good) or others (for compliments and applause). 3. Your dream needs to be bigger than yourself
Was Joseph ultimate goal the palace, power, status, wealth of a king? No, he didn't place his values in worldly treasures. Yes, it came with his ultimate goal to save Egypt from starvation and reconcile his nation. However it wasn't his primary goal. See when we put Jesus and others first in everything we do, all the good things we desire will eventually follow. Jesus is a very very generous God and when your heart is humble and pure, He will give you more than you can ever imagine!
4. If you can't be tested, you can't be trusted
Every single influential character in the Bible was tested. Noah, Moses, Joseph, Job,...God wanted to make sure that you are ready and can be trusted to carry out His plans. If you are tested by Jesus, don't be afraid or angry; because it means God has big plans for you.
