Did you know forty-three percent of farmers in developing countries are women? Modern agricultural technologies are improving profitability for women farmers all around the world. In the world’s poorest countries, women are often at the forefront of the family farm. Project H3LP aims to help replicate this in the communities we serve on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation, and the primary resources we have available are resilient people and land. One of our missions is to empower youth, all youth, to make the most of the opportunities in the world. We do that by applying Lifemanship through horses, STEM camps, and other activities. Pictured here are TC And Evelyn, two of our interns. These young women embody this change, and are making the most of every opportunity provided to them, here in Rural America and we are so happy to be part of their journey. Photos by @ and @.
