We all take loads of photos now but they stay in our phone or computer.
I love looking at photos. These are my only ones from when I was 10-12 years old.
We were always active kids, playing out, climbing trees, swimming as we grew up near the coast. My grandparents took me on holiday camping every year with cousins. I was always slim I suppose because we were active and fed proper dinners.
My weight came from carb snacks and becoming a Mum who worked and “didn’t have time “. We have to find time.
However I started the gym at 21 after my Nan died after 6 years ill health with heart attacks and strokes. She was only 72, not old. Diet was definitely the issue, saturated fats, dumplings, pies and friedfoods.
I looked at these today and remember why I train, why I believe in good nutrition and how much I miss Nan and Grandad. I don’t want my son to feel like this, so I’m doing my best to live long!
