This is my 8-Month Thrive Experience.
My name is Manda Olsen and I am a Full-Time Personal Trainer and Gym Owner of Mandatory Fitness in Orange City, Florida. I haven't always been fit nor healthy and I never imagined owning a gym with the amount of times I’m told a day that I inspire so many. It’s humbling, to say the least.
I used to weigh over 240lbs, wore size 22 jeans and carried zero self-esteem. I sought happiness within myself knowing my mind could carry me places if I allowed it so I completely changed my lifestyle and the people that did not serve me. Spending more time in the gym and less time with the wrong crowd, I found myself becoming more and more comfortable with whom I was becoming. I changed the way I looked at food and consistently researched the newest diet. I stayed consistent, joined the US Army and eventually open up Mandatory Fitness with the amount of support I received from my friends and the community.
Now 5 years later after losing 100+lbs, I was approached by a VERY good friend, Brittany Walker. Knowing her for years, she has known I have tried every single product on the market to get me where I am today. Having to take supplements or having to eat throughout the day isn't always convenient which made it difficult to stay consistent. When Brittany brought Thrive to my attention I declined, not because the product wasn't effectively designed but more so because of my ego. Being a gym owner and using social media as a tool to inspire and market myself, I was worried what others would think about me now being apart of a direct sales company. I will never forget how I felt Day 1. I was ABSOLUTELY a Day 1 Thriver! I was extremely busy with 10 personal training sessions that day and only had 2 hours to myself. Normally, I would've hit the couch and wasted the 2 hours but that day I never left my gym.
