Been thinking of how to do live streaming more story driven and less talking head. I hate talking heads so it just makes sense.
So this summer I've been playing around with live in my head. Asked myself why we just sit still in front of a camera and such.
It's boring, it's not using the cinematic language. List goes on.
Mainly it's because technology and resources limits us. But things are changing.
I've played around with a new setup, a wireless encoder, router and SDI switch mounted on the camera. So the ambition is to step the live storytelling up. Free myself from cords and develop a way to tell stories within a live stream.
As far as I know, nobody is doing this well? At least not without a whole crew, the idea is to do this as one or two people. Youtuber scale.
So far I'm trying the idea out in a canoe, but I'd also like to do it on trains and other places where you can be on a adventure and live stream it as it happens.
