As you all may have noticed, I haven’t been in the gym as much as used to. However, today was my first day back at the gym, ready to smash some goals and on a mission...BUT.. it wasn’t that pleasant.
The hardest part of starting to train after being away from some time is giving up. It’s so hard to keep going when your body is telling you stop! 10 squats really felt like 20 today. My body was aching, legs shaking... but that’s exactly what I needed, to keep pushing! It was a hard session-undoubtedly, but it always is after coming back from a break. Passion and strength are what got me through today and that is why I want to document my journey to gaining steady gains again, so you can see that training isn’t always easy but with passion and focus, you can accomplish your goals.
It’s has never been easy for me to gain weight but through consistent training and eating, I know the kilos will pack on each week.
