This week, we're sharing a few stories from our most recent #1habitcoaching graduates who have achieved some incredible transformations not just physically but mentally.
First up, meet Husna @husna2912.
Husna's journey in health and fitness began in 2010 when she decided she wanted to lose weight. She hired a trainer but due to time commitments, she gave up. She went on to buy a slimming centre package and went on a diet that consist of only 3 nuggets per day and laxatives for a few months.
When she got off the slimming centre package and ate normally, her weight bounced back to a point where she was 62kg, the heaviest she has ever been at the young age of 27. Making it worse, she was diagnosed with a fatty liver and the doctor advised her to do something before it gets worse.
She tried doing things on her own but each time life gets challenging and busy, she fall back into old habits. It became a cycle.
And that's when she approached us and started a 12-month coaching process. Working closely with Coach Aqilah and @precisionnutrition, we started making very small and slow changes which adds up to her progress.
There were ups and downs during the 12 months. In fact, she went through a challenging time in the first 3 months of Coaching but one thing about Husna is that she came back all the time and tried as much as possible to stay consistent.
Today, Husna can deadlift her bodyweight, and have shifted her goals from just losing weight to simply being healthier and take care of the body God has lend her.
According to Husna, "coaching has helped me overcome my body image issues the most. It has taught me to love myself which was a very hard thing to do." And that's the most rewarding thing ever because only by loving yourself can you start to love others around you.
