“The best views come from the hardest climbs” We love the PNW and the wonders they bring us and are looking forward to a 3 day weekend with more adventures in store!
What plans do you have for the long weekend? #watrex
You can find me in the mountains ⛰️
I think I'm going to go ahead and start this blog tonight because I've received an overwhelming amount of support. Ill let y'all know when it's live 👌 ---- In the meantime enjoy this picture of me from Austria, ignore the fact that it's not straight because my cheap ass doesn't feel like paying for the premium version of lightroom mobile.
Whenever I hear people complain about their job or work setting I always get a little backlash when I tell them to leave.
Things like “I’m so close to my promotion, I’m trapped, I have kids, I have to pay off student debt…” The list of excuses goes on for miles and I have heard just about all of them.
Everyone has baggage of some kind, and yes…some more than others. But the reality is if there’s a will there's a way. If you want something bad enough you will stop at nothing and find a way to make it happen.
There are just too many success stories out there from people who have climbed out of the gutter to the top.
When I started my journey I had more than 25K in student debt, moving into my third house of the year, no savings to fall back on and a little dog walking business to pay the bills.
What I am trying to get at is this…
I don’t believe you are trapped
I don’t believe you have no choice
I don’t believe there’s never a way.
I don’t believe I'm special.
What I do believe is that if you have a burning desire to live a life true to yourself and are determined to make it happen...
You will succeed 💯
Do you guys get mountain withdrawals?
I feel like I start to get a bit antsy when I haven't climbed a mountain in a while...or a cliff...or just scrambled over some rocks 😬
Looking forward to getting our hike on next week when we make our way down the Fleurieu peninsula and Kangaroo Island 😁😁 SO EXCITED!
day 10. we spent the last day of our road trip running around Valley of Fire State Park! what a hidden gem, this park was more fantastic than we could have ever imagined. everywhere you look there were walls of red stone jutting out of the ground and ice cream colored rock formations. after frolicking around, we drove 12 hours back home. yuck.
After Buenos Aires the north of Argentina feels like another country! The views, climate, people and food is so different! The photos don’t show the real beauty and colors of this place. Also I can’t get enough of tortillas tortilla santiagueñas (swipe to see what I mean) #ross_argentina
Why does rain smell so good? One of the odors "petrichor," lingers when rain falls after a prolonged dry spell. Guess we brought the rain to a dry New Zealand. Plus, the word “petrichor” sounds so fetch.
