My recovery looks so damn good when I look at these next to eachother.
University helped me in so many ways:
- I wanted to fit in, so I slowly said YES to group takeaways
- I sat on my arse revising in my spare time rather than obsessing about exercise
- I hate wasting food, and when your dog isn't around to finish your meal, you should really finish it! .
So much changed, and I had to have therapy prior to uni because I didn't think I'd be able to go (due to anxiety).
In the last 3 years, I have been diagnosed with bulimia, 1 year later I told my family and another year later I opened up on social media. How amazing 💕 .
University has done more than give me a career, it has made me confident enough to reach for what I've always wanted to be 🌍
