Working on #speed today with snappy 255 sumo and conventional dubs. 195 bench and close grip for speedy triples. Head was too fat couldnt fit in the frame. Got weird bench angles for you guys to enjoy.

Finished at 535lbsx6 for my final top set. - That fatigue hit me but we finished. Really trying to stick to my roots with the bodybuilding exercises so I can be like @superheavy.six and @its_perseus so here's one my torture sets.😣 - Supersetted the Single Arm Dumbbell rows with the T-bar rows. - For the DBs I like coming across my body because I can feel the stretch better and I made sure to pull it to my hip. I did that for 10s. - The Tbar rows I used a wide grip and did 10 reps and added a plate each set equaling 30 reps. I did the 3 times so we got 90 total reps and on my 3rd set I not only built my way up but I did as many as I could on the way down!. Try it out! The only rest should be you going to the next exercise. - Peaking always takes a lot out of me physically so I have to eat but the way my body is set up, I'll have to eat like I'm trying to bulk and it will help me maintain and not die for the remainder weeks. I'll have to drop at most 4 or 5 pounds. Maybe less. Overall, a decent day. Got some hip pain squatting, but what else is new🤷🏻‍♀️ Worked up to a fast but painful 110kg single. Worked up to a smooth bench single at 73kg, and a slow one at 75.5kg, followed by 4’s at 65.5kg. Then did some pain-free conventional up to a meh 120x3, then more easy peasy 3’s at 110kg. My quads are silly sore still, so I was feeling not so explosive off the floor🙈 Lifted about 1/3 of my “usual” volume on each lift this week. Hopefully next week I can increase it a little, though I am likely only going to be squatting once per week for a while. 🦄

Had a test this morning then decided to go play some basketball instead of working out. Boy has my endurance tanked on the court! I was dying by the 2nd game, meanwhile I can do 315x20 within 30 seconds.... Keep in mind, just because your endurance for a game is low doesn't mean you aren't healthy! Endurance is all about heart health and as long as you do some activity you should be good to go. Tomorrow's article is going to be on the EASIEST activity you can do for this! Anyhow, yesterday's workout: 2x8 Sumo with 435 1x20 Sumo with 315 4x20 Leg Ext. with 90 That's it! Had to study! For the longest time & especially in the last year, I thought I was losing the thing I loved most: powerlifting + training. For the most part, I’ve been transparent in admitting & thinking that it was just post-meet blues or laziness kicking my ass since I really lost all motivation and emotion towards training, but really.. it was my encounter with DEPRESSION that really kicked me down. It’s so frustrating to not know when the light would show through that black tunnel, but it’s becoming so much brighter! It feels so fucking goood to start gaining momentum and really get the wheels turning with training again.. but feels even better to be in a good mental place than I was one year ago and every day is step to reigniting my love & passion for powerlifting.
