The very outer rim of Grand Prismatic Spring. We made it here at dusk after a long day. The lines in the clay were like mini waterfalls and the colors were amazing but only impeded by the steam. Lots of bacteria and geothermal activity make this location almost outer-worldly. . . . #yellowstone #yellowstonenationalpark #midwaybasin #grandprismaticspring #getoutstayout #getoutdoors #getoutside #lifeofadventure #adventureawaits #exploremore #adventureculture #instatravel #amazingplace #theimaged #stayandwander #exploreourearth #fantastic_earth #visualsofearth #allbeauty_addiction #sonyalpha #sonyalphaclub #earthpix #usinterior

Chasing the sunset led me to the middle of a movie shoot. I was on top of the hill with @lucsteven and @gcmak watching a helicopter filming a car scene on the mountain, while there was an epic sunset happening at the same time! I managed to snap a few photos while mesmerized by the helicopter. I’ll repost my ig stories for reference. . . . . #sonyimages #sonyalpha #ig_unitedstates #artofvisuals #ShotzDelight #usaprimeshot #eclectic_shotz #yourshotphotographer #roam247 #ig_color #usinterior #world_shotz #moodygrams #nationalparkgeek #OptOutside #TLpicks #BeAlpha #earth_shotz #visualsoflife #global_exposures #earthofficial #lost_world_treasures #gottolove_this #beautifuldestinations #jaw_dropping_shots #ig_world_colors #got__greatshots #amazing_shots #cloudzdelight #depthsofearth @beautifuldestinations @artofvisuals @moodygrams @sonyalpha @natgeotravel @earthofficial

Each major peak in the Grand Teton Mt. range has its own luster and unique presence. This picture taken with a wide angle then cropped doesn’t offer perspective how massive the Middle Peak truly is nor does this picture offer how large the glacier actually is related to this peak. However this picture does capture the eye view which is breath taken. We were just above 10ft. ele. Perspective is everything! — at Middle Teton. - Autumn Mood - This particular sunrise was a workout. The light kept changing constantly, I had to keep running back and forth to try to capture the right composition. Finally right before the sun disappeared I was able to snap some good ones. —— I hope you enjoy . . . #theoutbound #earthofficial #appalachian_explorers #blueridgefeature #blueridgemoments #blueridgeoutdoors #blueridgeparkway #ashevilletrails #wildernessculture #greettheoutdoors #natgeolandscape #bpmag #nationalparkgeek #discover_carolinas #earthpix #naturalnorthcarolina #passionpassport #trailchat #landscape #rootsrated #sonya7rii #sonyalpha #sonyimages #picoftheday #explorecarolina #ncoutdoor_inc #usinterior #wildernessnation #artofvisuals #landscapephotomag

#flashbackfriday to the hottest day of my life... literally. It was scorching in Badwater Basin in Death Valley National Park. Have you been crazy enough to visit in the heat of summer?

Happy birthday mom, you inspire me everyday to be more like you and to have the heart that you have. I can tell you anything and be myself and you won’t judge me, instead you love me even more. You deserve nothing but the best. Also happy 29th anniversary tomorrow to you guys, I’m proud of you two and can’t wait to continue to watch your love grow for each other. ❤️

Happy #AlaskaDay! On this day in 1867, the Territory of Alaska was formally transferred from Russia to the United States, and in 1917, Alaska Day was created to celebrate this historic moment. From stunning mountains to winding rivers that snake through valleys, there are over 222 million acres of public lands in #Alaska and much of it’s managed by the Interior Department. This beauty scene is Beaver Creek Wild and Scenic River. The river flows west past the jagged limestone ridges of the White Mountains and is a popular spot for river adventurers. It’s great for a float trip, wildlife viewing and fishing. Photo by Bob Wick, Bureau of Land Management (@mypubliclands). #usinterior #travel #findyourway

Little Chief Mountain is a beautiful peak. It was named for a Blackfeet chief who learned the value of forgiving his enemy from a Catholic priest. Forgiving someone is a powerful way to change the world!

We’re continuing our #AlaskaDay celebration with more stunning public lands in #Alaska. When the initial purchase of Alaska was announced in 1867, many Americans ridiculed the sale. However, in the 151 years since, Alaska’s incredible beauty and bountiful resources have proven it to be a valuable addition to our union. "We need the tonic of wildness...At the same time that we are earnest to explore and learn all things, we require that all things be mysterious and unexplorable, that land and sea be indefinitely wild, unsurveyed and unfathomed by us because unfathomable. We can never have enough of nature" ❤🌿

I love this moment of still beauty while the world goes to hell around it. I have been trying to find those. #Repost @usinterior ・・・ There’s no doubt about it: #LakeMcDonald is one of the most beautiful places in Glacier #NationalPark. A hub of activity on the park’s west side, Lake McDonald is @GlacierNPS’s largest lake at 10 miles long and nearly 500 feet deep. Its crystal-clear waters provide a mesmerizing view of the layers of colorful rocks and pebbles below, but be warned, the water is icy cold -- most lakes never gets above 50 degrees Fahrenheit at the surface. This stunning shot of Montana’s Lake McDonald was taken a few days after the Howe Ridge Fire broke out earlier this year at #Glacier. Finding magical places and moments in our own backyard. Side note: Don't let the fear of missing out on epic/faraway places take control of you and exploring the beauty around you. A lesson I’ve learned from myself. We drove up the mountains near Los Angeles on a rainy and foggy day last week to come across this autumn scene in the forest.

I've ridden in at least a dozen states, five just this summer, all of them awesome in their own way, but if I were ever forced to choose just one...

I went into the woods because I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life... to put to rout all that was not life; and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. This trip to one of the deepest part of the midwest was scary as a black female - but if I let the inner discouraging voices win, I would not have gone and the scenery definitely made up for the scary moments. Forget the times where I was holding my pepper spray and keys tight in my hand as I was watching the sunset with shady vans in the vicinity as another company, or from all of the stares as I was visiting, or camping out and trying to look as invisible as possible, hoping none of the red hat wearers or like minded had spotted me. A friend later said to me: "I am not afraid of bears. I am afraid of people". Truth. On a different note, I am glad the weather man lied as my weather app said sunny for a day that ended up being 100% snow. Waking up to this felt like Earth was speaking to me and sending a warm-hearted welcome - forget my freezing fingers and toes. Don’t expect to see a change if you don’t make one. A lot of people I know in life are stuck, either with work or a bad situation. It doesn’t help to just focus on the bad parts of it, you have to be willing to change your mindset and the way you look at the outcome of all the struggles you’re put through. Wake up with a positive thought everyday, embrace life and the beauty of it while you can. Get up and change it and if you don’t know how, here’s my first step for you, find your passion and find something that pushes you out the door. Go out there and get what you want, no one is stopping you. ————————————————— All of my photos are for sale in different sizes and a various of options - such as a canvas, wood prints, postcards, etc. Just shoot me an email or check out my website in my bio!

#hippomag #cerealmag #solarcollective #palepalmcollection #somewheremagazine #subjectivelyobjective #imaginarymagnitude #exploreobserveshare #oldtonecollective #weltraumzine #stayandwander #findyourpark #usinterior #mytinyatlas #gominimalmag #ifyouleave #archivecollectivemag #vscox #earthoutdoors #onbooooooom #beautifuldestinations #choosemountains #lightzine #lekkerzine #summersunselection #dreamermagazine #adirondacks #visitadks #lakeplacid #autumn

We were about a football field away from the mom and her three cubs. There were about 2 dozen people crowded around shouting every time the bears would pop out. The rangers were telling us that they couldn’t cross the river because too many people and cars were near and it frightened them. It’s sad to see such beautiful places get swarmed with people, but yet it’s beautiful because we can all see things we never get the chance to see, together. Just make sure you give the wildlife some space, enjoy the view in peace, and move on to the next journey.
