The first time I went to Costa Rica was during sophomore year of college and I weighed around 135.
This past summer I’ve weighed around 150 pretty consistently. I’ve put on some muscle mass especially in my upper body and I am probably about 30-40% stronger in the majority of my lifts.
It’s all about consistency and dedication. I say it all the time, it’s okay to have some fun and have some cheat days, but keep your goals in mind.
I was lifting and doing cardio 6-7 days a week in the photo on the left, but I wasn’t ever pushing myself till failure, I wasn’t trying to increase my weights or PRs each week.
I now am lifting 6-7 days a week and doing cardio about 3-4 days a week. I try to push each exercise to failure especially on my last sets. I eat a substantial amount of protein from food sources and rely less of protein shakes. .
