Hit Report Saturday 8th November 2018
We decided to revisit the Barlow where one of our vehicles started the day being blocked in at the kennels, though unfortunately for the hunt our other vehicles were well placed to spot horseboxes thanks to a tip off to the HSA Hotline.
Once we had located the meet on the Welbeck Estate near Creswell, Notts, we tag teamed with @ keeping huntsman and hounds in view for as long as possible.
The large woodlands which formed the meet allowed the Barlow to play to their secretive nature at times, though hounds were only heard in cry once, with field sabs not far behind.
We had a fairly boring day, so imagine what it was like for a very frustrated looking field, all of whom had left before the huntsman and two other redcoats finally packed after just four hours.
We are happy to finally be able to put pressure regularly on one of Sheffield's closest hunts with the support of disgruntled locals. So please keep your eyes and ears open and pass on any info to the HSA tip off line 07443148426
We are still fundraising for a new vehicle after our land rover was stolen and burnt out. If you can help us follow the link in our bio to donate.
