Who else loves a veggie burger?! 🙋 I feel like veggie burgers have exploded recently - there are so many amazing ones there, a lot of them even meat eaters struggle to distinguish from a meat burger!
One of my fave places for a burger is the relatively new @ in Central Cardiff! They serve up fast food style burgers, kebabs, chips etc., and everything I've tried so far has been delish 😍 This is the newest addition to their menu that I tried on the weekend - the 'big Greazy' 🍔 Two layers of burger patty, vegan cheese, vegan bacon, burger sauce (like a chipotle aioli - so good!), and salad in a seeded bun! SO TASTY! I had this with their dirty fries, which are fries smothered in vegan cheese, vegan mayo, vegan bacon pieces and jalapenos 🤤 Such a good combo! Would highly recommend trying it out if you're in the area 🙌
Some people wonder why vegans want to eat mock meat.. but it's not the taste of the meat we have an issue with! It's usually how it's produced and the impact it has on the planet and our bodies. So finding an alternative that doesn't cause the same damage yet tastes the same is the dream 🌟 It also really helps people transition to veganism, as they'll have probably spent most of their lives eating meat-focused dishes, and want to re-create them where possible (which is usually really easy to do!).
What's your fave veggie burger? 😋
