To continue my vegan cheese theme from yesterday, here we have some Loaded Baked Potatoes, replete with steamed broccoli and some Vegan Cheese Sauce that is simply delicious.
You can put this on veggies, potatoes, tacos, burritos, pizza, or dip chips into it. It is really a good all purpose dairy free cheese sauce.
There is no need anymore to consume dairy with its unhealthy nutritional profile when we can eat delicious healthy cheese made out of whole plant foods.
Try this and see if you don’t love it yourself. Unlike the Chunky Vegan Queso from yesterday’s post, this one actually has nutritional yeast so make whichever one sounds better to you.
Vegan Cheese Sauce:
1 cup unsalted cashews
1 cup nut milk
1 T nutritional yeast
1 t garlic powder
1 t smoked paprika
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Put it all together in your high speed blender and blend for a few minutes until smooth. Pour over your potatoes and save the rest.
