⏺️EVERY STEP COUNTS⏺️ I am fortunate enough to have a physical job, and I catch public transport instead of driving in, and walk 1.5kms each way from my stop to work, so my steps quickly add up.
But if you struggle and hate the thought of hitting the treadmill for anymore than a few mins, here's some ideas:
Park a bit further away from work and walk
Walk around during your breaks
Walk a few blocks to unwind from work before you head home... Whatever works for you!
This is steps accumulated between 6:30am and 6:30pm. It is only to and from work, and while at work. No gym steps counted (not even sprints) and no steps while doing housework were counted either.
Some days it's a little more than this, and some a little less, but I've usually hit 10,000 by midday most weekdays.
The calorie count at the bottom really does prove that you can burn a heap of calories just walking around, doing your job.
Every little bit of movement counts for something. So if you want some extra calories burned (especially at this time of year) just simply move more
