Everyone is looking for that secret for a great set of abs. But I hate to break it to you, training abs all the time will not "make your abs great" So your goal is to get a six pack. That's a goal millions of people share, and it's a goal lots of people never achieve. The secret to training abs, is to cut down the calories. The real secret to abs? A low body fat percentage. Sounds easy right? You'll get abs if you cut down the food, well yes, you'll get "a" set of abs. But maybe they'll not be as separated or blocky as you'd like, that is when you do direct ab training. For the most part, direct ab workouts are an exercise in futility. However I'm not going to undermine their use for creating certain 'looks' for abs. Every single person you look at has a six pack. It's just that it is hidden under a layer of fat on most people so is invisible to the naked eye. Your abs are formed like that naturally. Some have the willpower to get up in the mornings and go to work, others have the willpower to go to the gym, other people have the willpower to party all night on a Saturday night. So Instead of saying “I can’t do it, I don’t have any willpower”, remember that you DO have willpower but maybe you are choosing to use your willpower on something else. If something is truly important to you, then you will use your willpower to get it. It’s all a choice:)

GOODMORNING everyone. Happy Tuesday!!! Here is a BOSO BALL ab workout that killed me. Adding in a BOSU ball to you ab days works them 2x harder. 1. Your not only targeting more abdominal muscles the a standard floor ab routine because the BOSU allows you to get a further range of motion, working out MORE muscles, 2. but your also using more neuromuscular concentration to balance yourself on the ball while performing ab exercises, And let me tell you; these may look simple, but the BOSO made it so much harder for me! . . ROUTINE 30 sec of each!!! 3X 1. Standard crunches 2. In and outs 3. Left knee to right elbow (essential like a side crunch) // alternating each side 4. Plank position // alternating knee ins 5. Low plank 6. When I’m cutting, I like to reduce my carb intake and mainly have them around my workouts which for me is breakfast and then my post workout meal. I usually consume a little more carbs on leg day to give me that extra energy. So rest of my meals are low and this is a good time to increase my fat intake especially from fatty meats such as ground beef, wild salmon and other oily fish.
