On 12th November, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated India’s first multi-modal terminal on the Ganga river in his parliamentary constituency of Varanasi. The terminal is a part of the Jal Marg Vikas Project, which aims to create inland waterways as a mainstream means of transportation in India.
